We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Copy Editor in the pharmaceutical industry located in New Jersey. This role involves proofreading and editing medical content, requiring a familiarity with the medical legal review process and pharmaceutical communications.
Responsibilities:
• Proofread and edit medical content for accuracy and adherence to AMA guidelines
• Review and edit content to ensure it complies with the medical legal review process
• Work on diverse pharmaceutical communication projects as needed
• Utilize MS Word and MS PowerPoint to create and edit documents and presentations
• Collaborate with a team to ensure the accuracy and consistency of medical content
• Review documents and content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors
• Ensure all content adheres to company and industry regulations and guidelines
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
• Ensure all NDA forms are filled out accurately and timely.

• Proficient in using MS Word and MS PowerPoint for creating and editing content
• Excellent command over English language, with a strong focus on grammar, syntax, and punctuation
• Ability to review and revise content for correct usage of terminology in pharmaceutical context
• Must demonstrate strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in content
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Proven ability to understand and adhere to style guidelines and standard operating procedures
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• Knowledge of FDA regulations and guidelines relating to pharmaceutical copy is highly desirable.
